Hi guys,
First of all, thanks for subscribing - it’s great to have you here in this second episode.
Last Friday I read something that really displays the reason why I started with Knowcast:
“Humanity advances from people sharing knowledge. All of us walk on top of a stage raised by generations of people who lived before us and shared their best ideas. If you know things that other people should know about, you have a moral obligation to write about those things. Otherwise, humanity doesn’t benefit from your learning and hard-earned lessons.
Some people spend their whole lives waiting for the sound of a starting gun that never goes off. There is no such thing as “fully ready.” So don’t wait. Pull the trigger yourself. The thing you’ve been waiting for is your own permission.”

A 500 Pound Squat & Sub 5-Minute Mile In The Same Day - sounds doable right?
Just kidding - to squat 226,79 kilograms and run 1,61 km in less than 5 minutes, takes something extraordinary. This podcast outlines how the limits of human capabilities can be reached by training intentionally and setting the right goals.
School of Greatness - Lewis Howes & In-Q - Apple Podcasts / Soundcloud
I don’t want to spoil too much for this episode as it’s a truly wonderful piece of art. In-Q is a deep soul, an insightful artist, and has such a gifted voice. He chooses to change the world with his talent and perspective. His spoken poems are of the ordinary (sneak-peek)

“blissfully unsatisfied”
A fantastic paradox — you can be blissfully happy with where you’re at in life, while at the same time you can be equally dissatisfied with wanting more or knowing you have more to give.
Tom Stevenson - 7 Quotes From Marcus Aurelius That Will Change Your Perspective on Life - Medium
Stoicism is something I admire for a longer period of time, but it’s always something that’s more on the background, but every time I ‘check-in’ with it, it feels great.
This article perfectly summarizes some of Aurelius’ great pieces and his ancient view on life.

Dr. Ivan Joseph - The skill of self-confidence - YouTube
Self-confidence is the ability or belief to believe in yourself to accomplish any task no matter the odds, the difficulty, or the adversity.
The problem is we expect to be self-confident, but we can’t be without putting the work in. It all boils down to repetition, repetition, repetition - there’s no magic button
"There's enough people telling us we can't do it. Why do we want to tell that to ourselves as well".
Instead, tell yourself “I am the captain of my ship and the master of my fate” and get out there & start practicing :)
Catch yourself when you’re good: write yourself a self-confidence letter when you’re feeling great and read it on moments you don’t feel great.
Oh, before you go, 1 final thing: pay it forward - if you like the content, please share it with 1 friend by sending him or her the link knowcast.substack.com.
In this way, we will continue spreading this wisdom, one person, at the time. The future will thank us.
Cheers,
Jessie
